We're hiring. Again.
We are looking for a new member of our team. They will be leading the roll out of a really exciting new product that we've been busy working away developing. The role will be part business development, part marketing strategy and sales.
We are looking for candidate who has a degree, a lot of banter, can demonstrate that they've taken initiative and responded well to criticism. The candidate needs to be confident and have experience of sales. (Sales of software / sales to educational establishments / B2B sales are preferred, but we are open minded).
We are also looking for 2 interns. One to help the companies we are working with grant application writing and the other to get involved with day-to-day management and marketing FIG.

Happy Easter
We’ve been away for a while. Since the launch we’ve been noses to the grindstone.
What have we been up to?
Well, supporting the seeds who presented (2 found finance, 2 are still in talks, 4 walked away with cash in their pockets, 1 found customers and a few have met with new advisers and non-execs). We’ve also been busy putting the finishing touches on our two new products that we will be launching soon (they are both currently operating in private as we iron out bugs).
On a personal note Marco’s gone to Italy, Lisa is off to Monaco, I’ve been to hospital to have my wisdom teeth removed and Herb’s had a haircut.
And now it is election fever pitch.
But who will help the start-ups, who will help the SMEs, the innovators, the employers, the risk-takers? We will see.
At FIG we are hoping that whoever takes power brings a change for the better. Fingers crossed.
