Robin has more than 30 years of experience in commercial and investment banking, having worked in senior positions at Deutsche Bank, Security Pacific National Bank, BankAustria/Creditanstalt and JP Morgan Group.
From 1991 to 2003, Robin was CEO of Bahrain International Bank and Chairman of a leading UK property developer, Crown Dilmun. Based in London, he is currently a Senior Adviser with Corporate Finance boutique, Ptarmigan Capital.
Robin has a wealth of expertise as an investor in early stage businesses in the US and Europe, having been an early backer of Reevoo.com; Another Country; Magic Lantern Productions; and Phonetic Arts (sold to Google in 2010) among many others.
Robin came to FIG as an investor and advisor. He sits on the advisory board of FIG as well as chairing FIG’s Concept Seed Fund at New Model Venture Capital (NMVC).
He is an investor in various FIG Seeds including Wazoku, EyeQuant, Bertie & Bean and MuJo amongst others.
